as the minimum starndard.

 INSURANCE SCHEDULEING. 

An insurance appraisal is used to determine the retail replacement cost for insurance scheduling. The appraisal is the record that will be counsulted by insurance firm to set up the premium and detrmine the amount of insurance. Common examples of scheduled prorerty include fine are jewelry, furs,audio visal equipment, stamp and coin collections.

 

​GEM IDENTIFICATION

Gem Identification is first step for gemstone you have on your romantic treasures.

 what is it?  Is it real or imitation?  W can provide this service consultation or in a diamond or gemstone grading report. 

  Please note that when grading mounted gemstone or diamonds, the mounting may limit the accuracy or types of tests that can be performed as well as the accuracy of the grading reported.

 

DAMAGE REPORTS                                                            
A. damage report express the  differnce in value that has resulted from breakage and esttimates the cost of the removal ,recutting, and resetting of the stone.  A damage is documented in the report, including

1. Value of the Item prior to the  incident.

2. Current value as a damage item

3. Weight loss of a diamond from the recutting.

4. Change for repair to the item

5. Value of the item once repaired or recut

DIVORCE SETTLEMENT APPRAISAL

 

Jewelry has romantic memory, and both parties are likely to have an inflated idea of the actual current value of martial jewelry. 

This appraisal is used in the dissolution of marriage and establishes the market value of the items that were purchased as marital property. California does not use fair market value, but relies on the evidence code or civil code as a defalt-one is fair market value . one is not.

RESALE OR LIQUIDATION APPRAISAL

 

Sellers desire this appraisal when they have jewelry, coin and watch items to sell. 

This type of appraisal determines the resale value, after consultation with the client, within the most proper market.

The selling timming available to find a buyer will effect the price that can be earned. 

Frequently, Ｌｉｑｕｉｄａｔｉｏｎ Value is used in these appraisals. Ｌｉｑｕｉｄａｔｉｏｎ Value is 20-40％ｏｆ the Ｍａｒｋｅｔ　 price (without regard to selling expenses) at which the property would be expected to change hands, within a reasonable amount of selling time.

Unfortunately, jewelry sometimes become the subject of a dispute that needs to be settled in the courts.  These reports are commonly used in civil or criminal cases.  As professional trained Independent Appraisers, we have the qualifications and expertise to provide an unbiased opinion to aid the courts.
